08/15/2026 Dodger Top 30 Prospect Activity

Pitcher of the Day: By default this will go to Marlon Nieves. Marlon only gave up one hit in five innings but he also walked five in five innings which is why I haven’t been able to commit to him. Still, he’s hard to hit and if the command comes, that is why he is on many top 30 Dodger prospect lists.

Hitter of the Day: Kellon Lindsey had a triple and home run. It was back to back nights with a home run for the speedy Lindsey giving him eight on the year.

OKC Dodgers: Ehrhard had two singles, Ward one single, and Tibbs one single. Noah Miller was 0/3. While the Dodger bullpen continues to struggle, Halvorsen picked up another AAA save.

Tulsa Drillers:  Tulsa faced two of the best pitching prospects in baseball on Friday and Saturday Night and it showed. They were shutout for 17 outs by Kade Anderson on Friday, and got only one run against Ryan Sloan in the same 17 outs. The only person to reach Sloan was non-prospect Joe Vetrano who hit his 8th home run. De Paula had two singles, Hainline had one single, Wagner zero hits. Sirota sat this one out. Given that infield minor league journeyman Taylor Young, I’m not quite sure why one of Davalan or Quintero are not in AA right now.

Great Lake Loons: Quintero got on base four times with two singles and two walks. Emil Morales, drove in three runs with two singles, Elkins had two singles and walk, and Nico Perez popped a double.

Ontario Tower Buzzers: Vargas had three more hits including a double. Ko had one single. Caleb Johnson was drafted this summer in the 13th round. Interesting that he is playing SS when the Tower Buzzers have three other SS on the roster in Lindsey/Vargas/West. His first game was on August 6th and going into this game he had just two hits in 16 at-bats. In this game he smacked two singles, but as you will see in the next two recaps he was just getting started.
