Pitcher of the Day: Tough call so going with two pitchers today. Tradeline acquisition Jacob Kmatz(28) twirled two scoreless innings for Tulsa(AA) striking out four, while 2025 2nd round pick Cam Leiter(18) did him one better with three hitless innings and 5 K’s. It was an almost perfect three innings except for one walk.

Hitter of the Day: Nico Perez( 17) blasted two home runs (8 and 9) and got his OPS close enough to sniff .900.

OKC Dodgers: Ehrhard(16) had three hits including his 16th home run and stole two bases. Normally that would be good enough for HOTD but not today. Noah Miller(21) was perfect with three singles, Ryan Ward(27) had one hit, and Tibbs(8) was 0/3 with two walks. One week after making his 2026 debut, Bobby Miller pitched in relief today and the results were not good. Miller got six outs, gave up three hits, three runs with one walk and one strikeout.

Tulsa Drillers: Hainline(22) had three hits including his 11th home run. De Paula(1) had a single and walk, while Mike Sirota(3) went 0/4 and saw his OPS drop below 1.0 for the first time with Tulsa.

Great Lake Loons: Most of the damage was done by Nico Perez but Davalan(6) had a single/double, Quintero(2) had two singles and two stolen bases(39). Emil Morales(4) was 1/ 4, and Martinus924) was 2/4 and looks to be adjusting to the Loons. After two great starts, Hyun-Seok Jang came back to earth getting only six outs, giving up 4 hits, two runs, one walk, and three K’s.

Ontario Tower Buzzers: Quiet day for the Tower Buzzers. West and Shelton didn’t play. Lindsey was 1/3, Ko 0/4, Vargas did hit a triple in his four at-bats with zero K’s. Osario kept his OPS above .900 with one single and two walks.

Quick Note on how hot Charles Davalan has been. Per Eric Cross Davalan now has more home runs than K’s over his last 30 days. As Vin Scully would tell you, that is DiMaggio territory. Overall in the past 30 days, Davalan has 89 PA, 19 XBH, 9 HR, 8 BB, 7K’s for a triple stat line of .429/.506/.935.
