Corey Seager leads TB Leaderboard against Braves at DS

Corey Seager is already making his mark on the LAD record books. Earlier this week Corey hit his 45th home run, giving him the most home runs by a LAD shortstop.

As the Dodgers prepare to play host to the Braves, Corey Seager is already on top of the total base leaderboard by a LAD against the Braves at home.  This was the first time Corey Seager hit three home runs in a game but as we would soon learn, it would not be the last.

Good ole bonus baby Willie Crawford had a great day against the Braves back in 1973 when the Braves were still in the NL Western Division. Future HOF Adrian Beltre had his great game back in 2004.

I was kind of hoping to see Matt Kemp on this list against his current teammates.

On the flip side Felipe Alou is the only Brave to ever tally at least 10 total bases. No Chipper Jones, Freddie Freeman, Andru Jones, Javy Lopez, Eddie Mathews, Hank Aaron, Brian McCann, Bob Horner, Dale Murphy, Darrell Evans, Dan Uggla.

So……………I decided to go down to eight total bases just to seen all those names I mentioned above. My favorite name on the list. Lew Burdette the 1957 WOrld Series MVP hurler who went 3 – 0 with 3 complete games in the World Series. Lew hit 12 major league home runs

Anyone remember what Tony Tarasco was famous for?
